This studio worked with several AI and Generative Design Tools throughout the process, such as Midjourney, PromeAI, Firefly, and Adobe’s Generative Fill. Students were encouraged to use these tools through each design phase, including inspiration, schematic design, digital development, and material renderings. As the prevalence and understanding of AI progresses, designers and architects now have a unique opportunity to develop these skills to their advantage in hopes of creating a more efficient workflow.

Culinary Sanctuary was a result of understanding healing through discovering a purpose. It stemmed from shifting escapism into a positive effect, where guests would be able to learn a new hobby to take home to their lives. Through the structure and rituals of cooking and the hands-on garden landscape, people who visit this sanctuary are able to find healing through nature, and peace within themselves.
